QA1 shocks w/ 9'' raer end?

I have a 9 inch rear and I just purchased a set of QA1 shocks. It looks as if the piece that mounts on the rear end from the shock is missing. Do I have to remove that piece from the old rear or what? Please post pics, Ideas of your 9'' rear set ups. Thanks

I have the same set-up and I had to make my own brackets. I'll post some pics when I get back to my other computer.
