I picked up some Mothers new Synthetic sealent to give it a try. I've always used Mothers caranuba for the final step. Am I going to notice a difference from caranuba, I'm guess it will last longer  I'll try it out tomorow...thanks guys.

You could let the Sealant set for a week, and if you don't like it, you could top it with the Carnuba-that's what I do.

The sealant will give your black car that "wet look," but it will lack depth. If you top it with carnuba, you will add depth and it will still look wet.

I have a Torch red with 2 coats of EX topped with P21s and it looks like you could loose your hand in it.

corner of walk and don't walk
I think sealant has a sterile, plastic look,- but last a really long time.
where as carnuaba has the warm, wet, refracted look,- but longevity sucks.
and on some colors synthetic looks better than carnuaba and visca/versa
I use both synthetic topped with carnuaba
each has it own quality points that the other don't

Just finished and it looks GREAT! Sorry no pics yet maybe some later. I didn't really notice a difference between the two (Synthetic and Caranuba) other then the synthetic was REAL easy to take off. Much easier then the caranuba. Seems to shine the same.
