Thank you for taking the time to read my thread.
Next semester I am transfering to a local college that has an Army ROTC program. With the credits that transfer and the major Im selecting, I'll be a considered a second semester sophmore (even if I have enough credits to be a senior). Now with 2.5 years of school left to get a bachelors in the major im choosing will I be able to sign up for ROTC? I know those that have 2 years left of school will need to go to LTC over the summer, will I need to do that also even if I have 2.5 years to go?
Another question, My major is in the medical field, will be studying medical technology, the army has a equivalent MOS of 70E clinical laboratory specialist. If that is my major and I do ROTC is there a chance of me getting that medical MOS or would it be just wherever the army needs me?
Im just looking at my options and if anyone remembers my previous threads I've been thinking about serving for a long time now(should've done it by now right?) but I am so close to finish college that I would rather complete that now than drop it to enlist.
thanks for any help you guys can give and yes I will speak to ROTC cadre at the college once everything gets settled with the transfering/signing up for classes in the spring. But if anyone can help out if they can that would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
