Are these really functional on our cars or more or less pretty light shows? My main concern is if I get one of those, will it warn me in time if I am running too rich for example when I am going down the track?

I was wondering the same thing, the auto meter gauge looks like a disco light, I heard something about a wideband 02 gauge. Look it up, but I know it cost more money.

Well if anyone decides they really want one, I have an Autometer Cobalt series A/F gauge brand new in the box for sale. Also an Autometer dual gauge mount for the A-pilar for sale.

100 shipped gets them both.

I'm trying to get money for LT's:coolman:

If your stock O2 sensors are anything like ours you will not get a perfectly accurate reading from an A/F guage. You need to buy wideband O2 sensors which are pretty expensive.

Mainly show. By the time an A/F gauge reads lean, it may already be too late. Go with a pyrometer, or EGT gauge. One per sensor, if possible. Detonation will show up as a metered spike in temperature.
