I have owned 2 terminators in the past year and both of them have had the same noise in the clutch. I never noticed it during test driving for both of them, but about 1 month after it drives me crazy. The first cobra had a Spec stage 3 clutch and this one has a centerforce dual friction clutch but hte noise is the same. With the Stage3, I thought it was the clutch spring rattling against that cover, so I took the cover off and it still happened. Its a rattling noise that sounds like a light piece of metal is rattling constantly off of something. It happens in neutral and every gear when my foot is off the clutch. It only goes away when you push the clutch in, but NOT engage it. Its not the TOB, ive had many of those go bad. If I even push the clutch in 1/4" before it even hits the engage point, it goes away. Ive only found one video on youtube that sounds like my noise and he demonstrates it by barely pushing in the clutch. For him it ended up being that the pivot ball was not tightened down and the clutch fork was rattling against the clutch. Has anyone had this noise? It has to be common if ive owned two cobras with two different clutches and both had the noise. If it were a loose pivot ball, is it possible to reach it and retighten by taking off that cover? Thanks!
