rattling

ok guys, any help will be appreciated. for the past couple of days i have heard a rattling sound when i accelerate from a complete stop.however,if i speed up after i am driving i dont hear it. what could this sound be coming from? also, what are some of the basic mods to make my car faster? i drive a 5.0 92 lx. thanx!

As for mods.. just about anything Mustang will fit on there and the 5.0 responds very well to modification.. and you'll need it.. with that high ratio auto tranny and stock rear end those stock 5.0 birds are running 16.s!!!! But alot of the guys at TCCoA.com have 5.0 birds running 15's and 14's. The stock for stock figures for a 5.0 car are posted there as well.. Give or take.. it's around 16.7. But anything mustang (except headers) will fit and like I said it doesn't take much.
