I have a two dumb questions ... they are basic questions. Here it is.
1. How can you tell what rear gear ratio you have WITHOUT taking the rear cover off?
2. Is it recommended that synthetic oil be used in the rear end(any brand recom.?) and is there a oil friction additive required?
I ask these questions because there are signs my rear cover has been off. And wondering if there has been a gear change. Bought used with 3800 miles.
Now for my intell.
Anyone who had 3.55 gears and changed to 3.73 can you tell me the pros vs cons? (ie do you have to change speedo gear?, Do you need the big driveshaft from JDM?).
