Hey guys I have an 07 GT500 and just purchased a good used set of 2017 Recaros (with the s197 frame welded in). I followed one of the SVTP thread’s here and removed my 07 side airbags out of my old seats and then installed in the Recaros place (taking out the originals of course). My question is: this seems a little sketchy given the fact that the 07’s side airbags appear to be constructed differently than the Recaros Side Airbags (shape, size etc). I can get them to fit in their place no problem however can someone here confirm that this is correct procedure when installing Recaros in the s197? Otherwise can I rewire the Recaros harness to fit the 07 airbag Connector? Other thoughts? Thanks guys
