Your new 2015 Mustang is brimming with cutting-edge engineering, from a new independent rear suspension to a highly tuned engine. Yet, when you pop the hood, you still have to lift it yourself and support it with a clunky, old prop rod.

Whether you are planning to show off the new technology under the hood, or you plan to spend your weekends modifying it, you don’t want that prop rod in the way. Fortunately, your fellow enthusiasts at Redline Tuning have already engineered a bolt-in hood-lift system for the latest Mustang.

“Redline Tuning was the first company to design a Mustang hood lift system back in 2002. We have constantly refined our QuickLIFT systems and now have applications for over 200 different vehicles,” Andreas Keller, co-owner of Redline Tuning, explained. “Our Hood QuickLIFT systems are the core of our business and our customers are the most important part of our company—their satisfaction is our success! Creating products that enhance their automobiles aesthetics, function, and fun are what we strive to design.”

From the outset Redline Tuning has designed and created hood-lift systems for Mustangs, and its latest patented offerings will finish off your engine compartment in style. The 2015+ Ford Mustang Hood QuickLIFT Plus (Part Number: 21-11028-02) is available for $99.95 It features black, e-coated gas springs and black-powder coated hardware.

Brian VanderHaagen, co-owner stated “The 2015 Mustang presented many design challenges for our QuickLIFT design. The tighter packaging space under the hood limited the possible mounting locations. Another challenge was due to this being the first ‘global’ Mustang design we had to ensure that our system would work on both left- and right-hand-drive vehicles,” Brian also added. “Listening to our customers we found that they preferred a bolt-in design, but we did not want to sacrifice the functionality of the system. After exploring many options we were able to design a system that is easy to install and meets our list of design requirements.”

For those seeking some extra style underhood, Redline Tuning also offers the $129.95 2015+ Ford Mustang Hood QuickLIFT Elite (Part Number: 21-11028-03). This premium system also utilizes durable, black-powder coated mounting hardware, but adds a brilliant shine courtesy of 316L-stainless-steel gas springs.

“The marine-grade stainless steel gas springs in the Elite system provide additional corrosion protection as well as a four-year warranty. Functionally there is no difference between the Plus and Elite QuickLIFT systems. We always recommend customers purchase the ‘look’ they want…” he said. “QuickLIFT Plus is our all black system and it blends into the stock environment.”

These systems seamlessly integrate with your new Mustang using factory attachment points, and you can easily return it to stock if you wish. The Redline Tuning QuickLIFTs also offer optimized lifting geometry so they don’t put a strain on the hood or attachment points.

Not only will you never have to lift your hood again, but Redline Tuning designed its gas springs with end-of-stroke-dampening that allows the hood to rise unassisted and come to a smooth controlled stop every time by slowing the rate just inches before full extension. And, with Redline Tuning’s top-notch instructions—created by enthusiasts just like you—installation is a snap. You’ll have your QuickLIFT system on in 10 minutes.

So what are you waiting for? Your first 2015 Mustang mod is here—a Redline Tuning QuickLIFT system!

Nice, I've had Redline struts on my 03 for years, still awesome. This company has great customer service also. I called about a year ago with a small issue with one of the ball clips popping off, 5 days later 4 news ones showed up at my house.

So i'm guessing because the 316 SS version has a longer warranty it has better parts. Any chance of getting an "elite - black" instead of the "plus"?

Got an installation guide? It seems it has not been added to your online library yet and I'd like to see what all goes into the install.

The reason the ELITE system has a longer warranty is that the 316 Stainless Steel gas springs are marine grade to prevent corrosion. The internals of the Stainless and Black gas springs are the same. We cycle test both the Stainless and the Black gas springs for 50,000 cycles with less than 5% loss in force. We have has several customers approach us at events and tell us they have had our system on their car for over 10 years with no issues.

We tell customers in comes down to personal preference. The all black QuickLIFT PLUS is the OEM looks while the Stainless QuickLIFT ELITE adds a little more flash.
