I havent done anything yet. Ive been working on getting things going with getting the k-member in, spindles are at the machine shop getting the tie rod hole opened for the bumpsteer kit. I have been doing lots of homework on all my possible options, which there are a bazillion to consider. After looking at the cost of piecing a setup together with cost efficient but still quality fittings, adapters, & mount it looks like it is going to be hard to put it together for less than MM's kit. I am still stubborn and want to keep the oil cooler and still want to use the FL820S filter so this week when I go to pick up my spindles I'm going to see about getting a quote for a custom pipe machined that will replace the screw in stud that comes with the MM mount. ~Half will be 3/4-16 thread to go into the mount and the half that extents out of the mount will need to be m22-1.5 thread to adapt for the 820 filter. The only other issue i need to look into is to see if the sealing surface is similar enough to be able to use the 820 filter on a mount designed for the FL1A. If the price is outrageous im not sure what I will do. I have about 6 weeks before it warms up here and people start getting out so I still have some time to tinker with things. Ill update as I learn more.
