Thanks everyone...really enjoying the ride so far for sure! Yes..thank you! I knew I was going to forget something. The heads up display was awesome and I do miss it for sure. I remember talking with some vette owners and some said it was a novelty they rarely used after the 3rd week of owning the car. I personally loved it and thought it was super convenient and helpful. I wonder if there is a mod for that for this car? I will admit I haven't researched it at all so it's totally possible it was mentioned already but that would be kinda cool if it were available. Although...I would almost hate to cut into the dash... Hey Devious, thanks. I actually figured that out this morning while going out for the paper! There are some limitations and I suspect that it will become easier with more use but it was nice to know that I can at least make a few changes while driving along. Actually...on a whim...my buddy who works at the chevy dealership called me up and said they just got one in on the truck and if I hurried over, I could go on the drive to gas it up. He said because it was already purchased, we probably couldn't take it out to see what it could really. I was able to talk him into letting me drive it back to the dealership after gassing it up (it was late and no one was going to see me driving it anyhow...). It was really awesome for sure. Handled just like the Z06 - you'd never know the difference (beyond the missing 75ish HP of course). I actually priced out a new Z06 on a whim before I got the Shelby just out of curiosity and it was up there for sure. If I were considering one of those, I actually would think about hitting up one of the enthusiast websites and seeing if a (responsible) owner is selling a slightly used one. Odds are that someone who buys a Z06 buys it for a weekend thrill and it remains in the garage most of the time. I saw a black/black '09 Z06 near me with about 10k miles on it for something like $54k. Looked pretty good from the pictures and for the price, you'd totally be set up to enjoy a sweet ride!
