[QUOTE="ridetech_ryan, post: 14923489, member: 168470"] It’s pretty impressive that even after 24 years, this show continues to grow bigger and better. The word is that around 4400 cars were in attendance, 50 cars putting rubber down on the autocross course, and spectators from 28 states. At the Ridetech Booth we had the honor of displaying Carrie Strange’s PURPLE ’64 Corvair, and Ryan’s Rod & Kustom’s beautiful Golden Empress, a ’49 Cadillac convertible with a beautiful gold hue paint job. Chris Smith had the 48 Hour Corvette out this weekend putting it through its paces. Chris hammered down for three full days and put the 48 Hour Corvette in a respectable second place finish behind Mike Dusold’s 1967 Camaro. Smitty’s 2nd place finish at Good-Guys Des Moines autocross puts him ahead of Kyle Tucker for the National Points Championship. There are only 6 more events left this year so this should make for an interesting finish.
