Summer is coming, that means higher intake air temperatures and lower performance:smiledown: Want to maintain that feeling your truck has on a nice cool air day? Of coarse you do because that means more power!! Roush released their "LTR" Heat exchangers for this purpose and we are bringing them to you at a limited time offer:smileup: Ambient air temperature will affect the overall intake air temperatures in your manifold as the supercharger compresses air and forces it into your engine. This is why most Supercharger systems come with an intercooler and or heat exchanger. This allows the vehicle to maintain a safe and cooler intake charge temp. With a cooler charge temperature your engine can handle more timing. Simple design and process, cooler air = more power. The Roush supercharger is twin intercoolered, there is a front mount radiator (heat exchanger) located behind the front grill and an intercooler mounted beneath the supercharger. Air passes through the fins in the front heat exchanger cooling down the liquid circulating through the intercooler. The flow is controlled by a pump that moves the coolant through out the system. This is the most efficient way to cool your air charge temp. Well Roush just went and one up'd their design!!
