I considered all the options, centrifugal, turbo, and PD. For the way I drive the car I settled on a PD blower, specifically a VMP Stage 2 TVS kit. The basic stage 2 kit with dyno tuning is proven to yield 600+ rwhp and 500+ rwtq. I'm just using the VMP email tune that ships with the kit for now (everything else besides OPGs and crank gear is stock on the car). With the email tune, which Justin (owner of VMP) says he keeps very conservative, my car put down 561 rwhp 485 rwtq, which I'm happy with for now since it's being put away for Winter. If I went turbo I'd definitely go with CPR. The bang for the buck is amazing. The two biggest reasons I didn't go with CPR is a) more maintenance involved / stuff that could go wrong and b) Much more labor intensive to install. I originally was going to install the blower myself but I didn't want to tackle the OPGs and crank gear. I ended up taking the car to Revolution Automotive which is one of the best Mustang shops on the east coast and then them install everything. They do charge more for labor for parts not bought through them, so the total as just north of $3,000 but for the piece of mind of professional install and people that know what the hell they're doing with these cars I got over the sticker shock. When I was there I asked about how a turbo install would compare and the answer led me to believe that a turbo kit is considerably more $$ for labor to install.
