The SCMC announces its 5th Anniversary event to be held in Pigeon Forge, TN on June 23-27, 2004. Scheduled to attend is the SVT truck and trailer as well as some SVT folks at the event banquet.

The event includes 2 days of runnig the "Dragon" which consists of 318 curves in 11 miles in a section of Hwy 129 in TN/NC. Also, you will be able to do white water rafting at a discounted rate.

Thursday night sports a 1/8 mile drag contest and Friday morning we will have an autocross.

There will be an SVT, Mustang, and Ford show on Friday and Saturday with an evening banquet on Saturday.

SCMC 5th Anniversary Event

We hope the following will answer any of your questions concerning our 5th Anniversary event. This 4-day event is open to SVT's, Mustangs, and all Fords.

Our schedule of events is as follows:

Dragon Run - The Dragon Run is a section of highway 129 on the TN/NC border. It consists of 318 curves in 11 miles and is one blast of a road to drive. You can get the latest information here at www.tailofthedragon.com. Each day the run will begin at 8:00 am and everyone will meet in the parking lot of the host hotel 30 minutes prior to our scheduled leave time. The SCMC accepts no responsibility for your safety and will not be held liable in case of an accident or personal injury. You are on your own when you do this portion of the event. A map is provided below with the directions to each venue of the 5th Anniversary. This cruise can be run on any day during the 4-5 day event.

Pigeon & Ocoee River White Water Rafting - We have made arrangements with a local white water rafting company to guide us down the Pigeon and Ocoee Rivers.

SCMC Drag Day - We have made arrangements to go to the 411 dragstrip for some 1/8-mile blasts. The event starts at 5:00 pm on Thursday night and concludes at 10:00 pm under the lights. For directions to the dragway see the map attached.

SCMC Autocross - High-speed fun at the 411 Speedway in Maryville, TN on Friday morning. Take your pony car or Ford through the cones at the 411 speedway but watch those cones and walls, they are not forgiving.

Pigeon Forge Boulevard Cruise - Cruise the main drag in Pigeon Forge with your Pony Car or Ford and just have a fun time socializing. The cruise starts at 9:00 pm and ends whenever…..

SCMC All Ford Show - Lightnings and Cobras and Fords, oh my! The show will take place at the host hotel, Country Inn and Suites, in Pigeon Forge, TN. Pre registration is highly recommended for this portion of the event so we can better organize the show. Please go to the registration table at the show tent to pick up your goodie bag and show card designating your class. The show is limited to the first 250 cars that register. You may get your registration credentials any time prior to the show.

SCMC Banquet - Eat dinner with fellow members and friends at the event banquet to be held at the Country Inn and Suites. The banquet is limited to the first 150 people who register. The banquet starts after the awards ceremony on Saturday night. Ford SVT will have a guest speaker for this dinner.

Pigeon Forge Discount Tickets - You will find discount tickets for you to use at the local area shows and events.
