This has been an interesting week. All started with a slight surge at 2000 rpm after installing the revised JLT 5 X 7 air filter for the big air cold air. It does nit have the wire mesh inside. It looks like the 5 X 9 is disco'd I contacted JLT and they said the tune (Lund-still waiting for their reply) may need tweeking. I didnt want to mess with the tune since its worked fine for 5 years. I called JLT again hoping somehow I could get a 5 x 9 from S and B. They sent me a tune but advised me to update the tuner. I returned the car to stock and did that. I ended up started over after the slow down. I loaded the tune and the car ran great. Next day I get a code saying bank 2 too rich. I checked the trims and they were at -25. All hell broke loose then. The guy I talked to at JLT went on vacation. I returned the car to oem and started to load the old Lund tune when the dreaded low battery error struck. I couldnt load the oem back or the Lund tune. I learned that the download uses alot if battery power even a new good one. I put the charger on and was able to do the down load. The trims were still -21, even the short term. I thought the MAF was pouched. Spent 300 dollars. It seem to bring the short term down but not yhe long term. Pulled the battery cable for 15 minutes but didnt do the head light trick. When I started it, i could not get it to idle unless I held the throttle. Threw a bunch of pending 02 stuck rich codes, OL and CL faults. A guy at the club told me about the headlights on to drain the caps. That did some good. I could get an idle (the idle learn didnt go well. Idle drops and then settles). The trims were better, not ideal but better, LTFT -13 bank1/-15 Bank 2 when cruising, -5s at idle. I had to do another reset and idle learn. The low LTFT is a bit concerning. The car runs great. If you didnt see the trims you would never know there was a problem. Now Im not sure why the LTFT is so negative. All this from a filter change
