We will be meeting at Sam’s Club, Fry Rd. and I-10, at 10:00AM. From there we will drive to Brenham as a group for a BBQ picnic and then head back to Houston as a group. </p><p></p><p>The Texan SVTOA Bluebonnet Drive is open to Texan SVTOA chapter members, national SVTOA members and other guests. This is a family event - so bring everyone along for the activity. The Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes and other wildflowers should be awesome! Come on out and join the fun!!!</p><p></p><p><u><em><strong>THE PLAN</strong></em></u></p><p></p><p>We will drive down I-10 to Sealy and then north on Texas Hwy 36 through Bellville and on into Brenham to the downtown city park. The park has a pavilion were we will enjoy our catered Bar-B-Q lunch. There is plenty of room for the kids to play so be sure to bring bats, balls, gloves or whatever the kids (big or small) will want to play with in the park.</p><p></p><p>We will also have a 50/50 raffle. What is that you ask? Put a dollar into the jar and you get a ticket, put in thee dollars and get three tickets, put in seven dollars and get seven tickets and so on. After lunch, we will draw a ticket and if the number matches your ticket(s), you win 50% of what was collected. The club gets the other 50% for funding future club activities.</p><p></p><p>After a relaxing lunch at the park we will cruise to “Must be Heaven” for dessert. Once back on the road we will drive Texas Hwy 105 to Navasota. From Navasota we'll catch Texas Hwy 6 to Hempstead. Then FM 359 from Hempstead to Brookshire or FM 362 from Waller to Brookshire. The final route selection will be picked the day of the event depending on what the group prefers to do. There will be occasional stops on the way home for those photographers in the club! </p><p></p><p>Please bring 2-way radios if you have them as they will come handy keeping the group together while we travel down the road. We should be on the road by 10:45AM after the 10:00AM meet & greet. RAIN DATE: In the event of rainy weather on the 21st, a rain date has been scheduled for April 4th.</p><p></p><p><u><em><strong>EVENT REGISTRATION</strong></em></u></p><p></p><p>Pre-registration is $8.00 per adult, $5.00 for children 12 and under. Early registration ends March 17, 2004. Registration will be $10 per adult if you wait until the day of the event to register. The registration fees are to cover the cost of the catered Bar-B-Q lunch. Please pre-register if you can as we are trying to get a fairly accurate headcount for the caterer.
