What are the preferred brands of shifter for the new Mustang 6 speeds?
I just bought a 2012 5.0 and as soon as I feel the shifter getting sloppy I'll go for one of the aftermarket brands.
I have always been a fan of Hurst shifters going back to my 64 Galaxie 4 speed back in the day.
BTW I am not a pound the gears drag racer, just an old timer who does a little open tracking.

Barton or steeda seem to be the only ones talked about that are available. I'm personally (like most on here) am waiting on the MGW.

I'm waiting on the MGW. In the mean time, I got the JHR shift bracket & it makes the stock shifter feel 100% better.

Just bought a Barton. Seems to have the best reviews. I like it very much. It claims to have as much as 40% shorther throws. The quality seems to be great.
