I currently have the stock shifter in my Cobra and I have been wanting to get a different shifter or handle setup that will be easier to reach. I have had in the past in different mustangs a pro50 handle on stock base, triax shifter/handle, and the MGW. I am really wanting to get the shifter handle closer to me and have noticed a couple of options, the UPR rock crusher or the Bowler transmissions handle. Both can be mounted to the stock base. So the question comes up, what are the differences between the stock shifter base and the others? Theoretically it should make shifting easier with a longer handle, more leverage. But would it be better with a tri-ax base?
