solid mounts on 4.6?

Haven't used them but wouldn't do it, you would get massive vibe and unless you are pushing over 800 horses you wouldn't be in any trouble.

I have solid mounts on my 01. You wouldn't know it if I didn't tell ya from riding inside the car, No big deal, change them if you want to.

On another similar post (somewhere I can't remember), they claimed that solid mounts on the Cobra 4.6 is a BAD thing. Possible stripping of motor mount bolt threads in the block, stress cracks, etc. Any truth to this? I've never had a problem with a motor mount breaking in my old 302 or 400 cars...
