So ive been dealing with a vibration for awhile now, and a friend of mine who was a ford tech for about 20 years and also drives a new edge mustang, was trying to tell me that its my pilot bearing thats been smoking my transmissions 4th gear for awhile now. Well i finally got to take it all apart hmm where do i begin. i was missing one dowel pin on the block, which he says was the cause of my pilot bearing going out (which by the way was toasted no bearings even in it) the pilot bearing was the vibration i felt which was killing my transmissions (3 transmissions all the same problem). When i was swapping the transmissions i just kept the king cobra clutch assembly i had in there never took it apart.... MY MISTAKE! So now i resurfaced factory flywheel luk performance clutch (i like it) adjustable cable steeda quadtrant ford tob timken pilot bearing i replaced the dowl pins and lubed everything up. driving it around today and feeling the smoothness is so so so much relief. Just thought id share this.
