I could use some serious help/suggestions. I have a 99 Ford Lightning, built that has recently after 8 years started acting bad. It will stop/start while driving as fast as one could snap fingers. Checked all fuses/relays under dash and under hood, nothing. Theft code is 16, and that lasted for about 8 months. recently started the truck and parked it in the garage overnight, next morning, doesn't start, no fuel pump pressure while cranking. Pulled tank, replaced both pumps and fuel in tank hoses. Great priming fuel pressure for about 2 seconds, nothing while cranking still. Pulled fuse#11 and checked for power and continuity, both good. Pulled fuse #18 from under hood checked power and continuity, both good. Unplugged the camshaft position sensor to see if the truck reacted the same, IT STARTED and idled perfect, no RPM added. Replaced the camshaft position sensor, plugged it back in, NOTHING, didn't start, same problem as before, no cranking fuel pressure. Decided to check SPARK while cranking, NOTHING. It appears the PATS code from key, ignition, dash cluster isn't sending and notice to pcm that it's cranking. Now my PATS in my tune is turned off, same tune I've run for the last 5 years with no problems. So I re-flashed the tune but it didn't make any difference. The pcb is still showing mileage, no ------------, as if it was burned out. Is there something I am missing to try? Members, Admin, Tuners, Mechanic's?
