Superchip

i've never heard much talk of a Superchip in a gen 1 but i was on NLOC's site and taking a peek at the truck of the month (very nice might i add) and was looking at his mods and he listed a Superchip. I was wondering if it would be worth getting one (price/benefit ratio) and where i would get one and just how much one might cost? me and him had the same mods (K&N filter, flowmaster exhaust, and crank pulley) but he also had the superchip and he posted his time with those mods as a 14.96. i don't have the superchip and ran a 14.98. any info would be greatly appreciated

I don't think you will get much more horsepower with it, but it does shut off your top speed limiter. You could probably get one on ebay, or the nloc for gen1 for sale section for about 20 to 40 bucks. I have seen them for that price quite a few times. Maybe post up a WTB
