The stock fittings from Ford are flare fittings for hard lines and are British Pipe Thread (BPT). I could not for the life of me find 1/4 BPT to -8 AN anywhere other than Ebay from China! I've seen guys just run 1/4 NPT fittings, you're taking a big chance on those. you'll only get 3 threads before they lock up in the threads. I've seen guys crack the case forcing them in or they leak.</p><p></p><p>So I made my own, took the stock fitting and an 1/4 NPT to -8 AN and cut off the NPT and welded the stock BPT fitting to the -8 AN.
