Even though its not a factory backed or even sponsored. Two Chilieans are racing stock SVT raptors competeing against professional made race vehicles. The tv is only on versus and they only talk about US drivers. But during a interview you see the raptor pull in for days events. So they are still running.

Except for the safety and data acquisition mods it looks pretty stock to me. Just goes to show what a great performer the Raptor is straight out of the box.

Few pushbars and decals and that was it. Considering competition in same class vehicle are not even able to be purchased by the public any where in world. The other teams vehicles are closer to F1 racing engineering then factory.

Some info on the mods....

It is basically a stock 5.4L that has to run a 37.2mm intake restrictor and a roll cage per FIA rules. Here is a link to their page on the Dakar site.

Please note that was a very last minute effort shown by the fact they did not modify the rear suspension for the spares and rollcage and have used up a bunch of the rear suspension travel in the process.
