We recently had the opportunity to install Redline Tuning Hood Struts on our project EcoBoost Mustang. The kit is supremely complete and very easy to install. If you hate the ugly stock prop-rod as much as me you really should check out Redline Tuning's offering for the S550.

Redline has already revised their bracket for the hood hinge.

I have the revised on, much better hood support.

I noticed that. We'll be installing the updated version in the next few weeks.

I forgot to mention there was some issue with alignment of the new brackets (making square to edge of hood) where as I had to loosen both hinge bolts and push out on hinge. Curious as to how yours will fit.

Interesting. I don't have any issue withe the old style brackets on two separate S550s.
