Sync with Ipod: Indexing FOREVER

The Sync system in the 2012 Focus didn't always play nice with my old 2006 iPod. Sometimes, it would take long periods of time to index. Other times, it would deny playing "protected content". I finally transferred all of my music to a USB flash drive and called it a day. Music now played with minimal hesitation and minimal indexing time.

Now that I have a 2014 GT, I simply rip all of my CDs to the internal JukeBox. Music now plays immediately when prompted, no delay. It's awesome. I've ripped about 20 CDs, yet still have 90+% space remaining. I love the JukeBox feature.

what are CD's?

Sounds like I need to buy a thumb drive then. I've got almost 860 songs on my iPhone lol.

I purchased 2 Patriot USB flash drives in 32GB for $25/ea from Newegg last year, and they have been great so far.
