Kinda of off topic, but I still have NO idea why the 6th gen camaro ZL1 is so underrated. Both in sales and public opinion. Every chevy dealer I have been to for the last few years, ALWAYS has one in the show room marked down to the bottom of the barrel and cant move them. They are one of the only cars in this class that ever really gets rebated heavily. My buddy who is a sales manager at a local chevy store, says they stopped ordering them last year because they are impossible to sell. They sit for months into the next model year, and end up selling to other dealers or being traded out to another dealer in exchange for a normal car or truck to make a deal. And its not like they are overpriced. They are the cheapest car in this class that offers both street and track performance of this caliber. Hell the standard ZL1 can be had brand new well into the $50k range with discounts, and the GT500 will be in the $90k for the foreseeable future. HOW?? What makes this car so undesirable. Among the camaro LT and SS owners, its god-like. But everyone else sees it as a misfit. Any thoughts on this??? They are super awesome btw. I have driven a 10 speed 6th gen ZL1 extensively, and its about the most badass sports car on the planet. Its a Corvette Z06 with back seats for half the price.
