Update Well I have good news and bad news...again. The good news is that after I posted last time about the caliper being locked up I thought I remembered having a spare at the house. So I went home and sure enough I had one that was an exact match. So I put the new caliper on and then reassembled the brakes. Then to reseat the new piston I put the car in the air just enough to get the tires off the ground, turned the car on and put it in gear and started to reseat the caliper piston. Which of coruse at this point I noticed that the whole wheel was wobbling and off center. FML. So I took the wheel off and put it on the balancer and it balanced fine. Then thinking, or perhaps hoping, that maybe they put something behind the rotor I disassembled the brakes again and reseated the rotor. However when I reassembled everything there was no change and thus I knew I had a bent axle on the left rear. Well, so much for finally driving the car today now that the weather is nice. After the initial shock set in that I'd have to buy a new axle and partially disassemble the rear to get a new axle in I realized that I had a spare sitting at the house...but I'd have to steal it from another car and strand it in the meantime. So last night we were able to take out an axle from the 97 Mustang and now I just need the time to swap the axle into the BAB. On a slightly happier note my new SVT emblem and stainless steel Cobra bumper inserts just arrived in the mail. Now I I need to get the front core replaced so that I can have the front bumper, rear bumper, and trunklid repainted.
