I have well over 600WHP. Probably closer to 700WHP than 600WHP, and my MPSS tires hook up just fine for fun street acceleration. The Cup 2 tire doesn't come in the stock GT500 size for the front. OP, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is an excellent tire for the GT500. It's being phased out, though, and replaced with the Pilot Sport 4S. The Continental ExtremeContact is also a great tire, but it's very sensitive to tire pressure. It doesn't grip as well as the MPSS, but is definitely acceptable. I've heard good things about the new Continental Extreme Sport, too. When the time comes again, I'll weigh replacing my MPSS with either the new PS4S or the Extreme Sport.
