hey guys i just purchased a set of FRPP shelby 18x9.5 rims.what size should i use for the front. according to discount tire the stock size is 255/40/18. but if you order the wheel and tire kit from late model restoration they use 275/40/18. i am using 305/40/10 nitto dr's on back. thanks David

I think you actually mean 245/45/18. Either one will work, my personal opinion would be to stick with the 255/45 though since that's what the gt500's come with on that size rim. The 255/45 will also have a little more sidewall than the 275/40's, so that will look a little better with the 305/40's in the rear.

The 255 looks a little small for those wheels (I had a 2010 GT500 vert with those wheels) so I wouldnt do a 245.

The 255s hung out on the front a little too much for my liking so I imagine the 275s will even more. I see a couple places sell the 18" track pack and GT500 wheels with 275s all around..

Make sure and post up some pics with the 305/40/18s on the rear.
