Top or bottom

Do you cut the bottom or top(the flat part) of the front springs..thanks

bottom if ur doing so. this isnt recommended cuz a very bad ride quality is normaly the out come, but i chopped 3.5in off my 90 protege and got an alignment and havnt looked back since, it rides perfect actualy....lol
