Torquing the wheels

Bill wants to know what to torque the wheels at. He has been doing 90. Is that correct? He just took all the wheels off to clean the fender wells and stuff--getting ready for the car show Easter weekend here. It is an indoor show and judges pretty much use white gloves! Bill has already cleaned the undercarriage real good and we are going to use mirrors to show the underneath.

90 lbs is recommended... no more than 100 for sure, especially if the rotors are red hot.

And if you are participating in an open track event ALWAYS re-torque your lug nuts after your first session.

Torque Spec for the wheel lugs....129 Nm(95 lb-Ft)
