I think a gt350 needs a 4.30 to 4.56 to make the most of its engine on a 28” tire. I’d go with that instead of the 4.09. I have been in many projects and ran everything from a bpu 03 cobra with 3.55, then 4.10’s, then nitrous, then 3.55 with twin 57’s on a revvy 4.6 terminator, then 4.10’s with a torquey 5.4 with 57’s, then a 3.08 on 28” tires with 900whp/wtq on the torquey 5.4 tt. Currently I have 3.73’s, t56, 8k rpm with twins making 1200whp. People tell me I need to run a 3.27 or 3.55 because of my turbo size and so on. **** no. On pump gas, the 3.73 is perfect with my power, and 7500-8000rpm. Launch hard off boost on a 3500rpm clutch roll, peddle 1st, hook 2nd, freight to 90, freight to 130, freight to 175. Look in the rear view and chuckle. At the least, hop on Wallace racing and see for yourself what rpm and mph you’ll be at with the 4.56 or 4.30, the voodoo mill begs for short rear.
