After putting the VMP supercharger and tune on earlier this summer, I just noticed the amount of fuel being reported by the trip meter seems to be off quite a bit. Although I don't expect it to be spot on, my latest numbers are almost off by two gallons...in reporting more fuel consumed than actual. For example, the trip meter reported today where I had consumed 14.9 gallons, but when filling up, its only 13.1. I noticed similar differences on my fill up a few weeks ago. I'm curious if the supercharger / tune has something to do with this, or if its always been off by this amount?? Is there a way to calibrate this, or something the tune itself has affected how the computer is tracking/calculating?
