Nice! My good friends is that color, cept he had them line the stripes with 1/8" white stripes. Kinda sets off the stripes and breaks up the colors a bit. I like it.

Here is my old one. I wanted a color that would look good but not a normal cobra color. HoK candy it was.

anybody want to guess what this paintjob cost? keep in mind he did all the bodywork himself. all the guy had to do was sand it, prime it and shoot it. and he said he would go back over it and buff it, spray underneath, and detail what he needed to once he got it all back together for no charge.

By wanting us to guess im guessing he got it pretty cheap. I will guess $2,000. But that paint looks really good. Nice job.

What kind of kit is that? I'm looking into a Factory five kit myself.

:D ^ Very nice.

Do you have any side shots of those BBK's. I've never seen 18's on a FFR. Looks killer from that angle

They run. With one of these kits and you can take your 87-04 mustang and swap all of the drive gear from it (eng, trans, rear end, suspension, wiring) into it. It only weighs around 2000lbs so a 225hp engine could do some damage in it.

Beef it up to around 600hp and you have a sub 10 second car, if it will hook up.

P.S. Where are you from in Illinois? I'm in Collinsville Il. 20 mins east of St Louis.

the term replica means they weren't built in the actual manufacturers factory. you buy a kit and put it together yourself.

my uncle met Carol Shelby at a car show and asked him to sign the inside of his glovebox door. he started to sign it and then asked him "this is an original piece right?"

needless to say he got his door back without any signature on it.

No. It's an EFI weber set-up. I got it here.
He has systems for 302s, 351s, and FE big blocks too. He's working on a system for modular motors since FFR recently released the MkIII kit that can use 96-up Mustangs as a donor. Not cheap but extremely cool and great power and throttle response. When I open the throttle blades, I can see the backs of the valves :burnout:
