Vert Owners: I am squeaky

Hey guys
I have noticed some squeakiness between the weatherstripping and the windows.
Anybody have a fix for this?

These cars have so many squeaks I surprised you narrowed it down. You might want to make sure the upper gasket isn't deformed in any way. Mine was just a little and I had it replaced.

IMO - not much you can do as the car ages. Tie the frame together might help.

It's a vert. Not only that, it's on a 25 year old chassis design. It squeaks. Live with it. Hell, just put the top down man!!

Really good subframe connectors. I have Global West competition SFCs on my 03 vert and I had them on my 00GT vert. GT had 45000 miles on it when I traded it in and not a sqeak or a rattle ever. I put them on the month I got the car, same with the Cobra.

Make sure you get good ones. The GW Comp SFCs are different for a vert than for a coupe. Also the comp version goes out to the rocker pinch seem as well. You'll notice a difference driving it away from the shop.

my drivers window would squeak when rolling it down,it was weatherstripping on inside of car that was doing it,right next to tweeter mount ,i used some rain x on the inside and it went away,think the rubber was grabbing at the glass now it slides : )
