You see, this is where you lose credibility. You're letting your emotions get the best of you. Where did anyone, including me, "just agree with everything ford did?" Hint (once again) - avoid absolutes. Where did anyone, including me, tell people they were wrong about wanting a manual in a GT500? In fact, I want one too and I said as much. Call me when you make it happen. Denial - it's more than just a river (colloquialism intended). There isn't a member here that isn't acutely aware that Ford has radically changed in a very short amount of time. Note that much of the change had to do with profit or cost which has everything to do with the decisions they have made regarding the GT500. Are you trying to imply I'm not a higher power? WTF? Then why are you in this thread, posting as if you are a lower power? WTF? The "deal with it attitude" is Ford's, not mine. I've just learned to accept it. You aren't seeing the forest through the trees here. When Ford says they "listen" it means they aren't going to act, in the near term anyway, something I already pointed out regarding having to wait decades for a top dog Mustang automatic. When people cry out for a stick in the GT500 and Ford redirects them to the GT350 that speaks volumes as well. In 2020, the economic argument against having two transmissions in the GT500 wins. Based on Ford's belt tightening as of late as well as their historical choice in this regard, my sense is you won't see a manual next year either - if at all. Look, I'd love to see Ford drop a bomb similar to what GM did with the ZL1 1lE and bring a second transmission choice to the table. You stated you didn't give a **** whether they offered a manual or a DCT as you aren't a buyer. Why argue if you have no skin in the game? Either present your case to Ford in a way that convinces them to change their business plan or don't. Yakking here about who can and can't post in a given thread accomplishes nothing. Points for the effort though, I do respect that.
