This is the same asshat that was running his mouth because he was butt hurt that the GT350 section hasn't been posted in for over a year, so he posted on the vette forums.

>>> Look at ME!!!<<<

GT350 vibes rattled his brain and his new balance shoes.

Poor guy can't think straight any longer.

Bill, Do you know where it is or the current owner?

Tom
Tom,

I sold it to a fellow in Chicago, he stuffed it into a wall at a local track. Gary Jones did a firewall forward replacement/restoration, removed the rollbar, all of the Kenny Brown suspension pieces, and repainted it solid white without the old blue GT350 style stripes, and sold it to someone in Ohio. That person had it on craigslist about 6 years ago for a week, hawking it as "all original, accident free" for $28,000. I inquired then, advised of the race history, previous accident damage, car has been offline since, with the telephone number originally given to me disconnected. Heard from a fellow MCA member that he had heard the car was quietly up for sale again a few months ago, but I have yet to receive any information. I thought about running the VIN and trying to track it down that way, but with a few deaths in the family, have not had my heart in it enough to do so.

lmao

GT350 is a turd that can only muster a 115mph trap speed and rattles to death. Im sad and sorry to hear you own one, OP.

Yeah but it burns a shit load of oil and comes with a toy crankshaft.

It just proves that Cobra guys were born with more talent..

Remember, when it comes to those of us who race/raced, less is more. Those who can't make it past the tech inspection, or lack the expertise to race on a track (not 1/4 mile, which for a street car is boring), just won't get it.

Just saying

Not a low blow at all, read the threads in this subforum, most of us road race our cars, SCCA/NASA/IMSA, or HPDE events these days as our cars get folded into classes that makes them less competitive vs the other class participants. Sure, there are a few who drag race, but they are the minority, as most of the modified "R" cars were done for road racing. The show and shine crowd while welcome, do not find actual racing, or the talk that ensues in this subforum interesting, or enticing enough to warrant them staying.

As a pro motocross racer, that reminds me of guys who wanted to drag race me on my R6 with their R1 or ZX11s. When I told them to follow me on roads with 90+ degree off camber turns that lead to the straight stretch and I left them a mile behind, they knew what racing was.

Don’t get me wrong I have a cobra and hit 150 in it the other day so that rush of raw power gets me too!

Hey, I just don't think the younger guys with their big spoilers and carbon fiber parts (most have a second girl-friend with your wife) can stay with us older dudes.

We run real honest legal cars with only slightly modified stuff.

Doc,

SWMBO calls my non daily drivers either "my mistress", or "my girlfriends". Clearly the race car is my mistress, fun to be around, but considered high maintenance. While the other two convertibles, like a girlfriend I had back at the ripe old age of 18, are willing to drop their tops in all kinds of weather :D

As for the rest, "less is more", I'll leave it at that.

I have my 00r, beater corvette, Ford Explorer, ford ranger and the wife has a crv. I have a bunch of motocross and flattrack bikes, a dual sport and an rc51 sport bike.

Once the used car market settles, I would like to pick up a ctsv v3 so my wife and six month old son can enjoy the car.

Wow! Sounds like the Carlisle car. Another R that has significant history disappears into obscurity after an owner removed modifications and turned it into a stock R.

Did you keep the log book?

Tom,

Sold the logbooks with the car, but may have scans somewhere in my archives. I have yet to dig them out of the storage boxes from the last move.
