What Ipod works best with our sync system?!

I've been using my old ipod nano and it works perfectly everything comes up on the screen song names etc. When I tried using my friends itouch it wouldn't work for some reason? Anyone have experience with this as I'm buying a new Ipod or a Zune.

It says the Itouch is compatible, but for some reason it just kept indexing the files, maybe I didn't wait long enough. I'm wondering if the Itouch or the Zune works better. Considering the zune is microsoft.

I have had both my iPod Touch and iPhone 4 hooked up to it with no issues at all, took a while to index everything, especially if you have a lot on it.

syncs website has a program to fix the indexing, it has nothing to do with the player but the tags on the songs............i did it to my 3 generation touch and it fixed all the issues
