What kind of brake pads will not squeak?

This squeaking this is not only annoying, but it is embarassing! :shrug:

Does anyone else feel this way?? What kind of brake pads will not squeak? Also, what will a dealer tell me if I take the car in for the TOB fix and tell them that the brakes are squeaking?? Thanks

I don't really know what to say. I have stock pads and no squeak. :shrug:

My pads will develop a squeak if I spend a lot of time in traffic. They are probably glazing over from frequent, light pedal stops.

My solution is to get into a clear area, take her up to 60, and haul it down as quick as possible. Put some heat into the pads and the squeak goes away...for a while.

I'll have to try that. The squeal is a little embarassing...
