I'm buying an 03 Cobra and have heard that the shifters are a little less than desirable. What kind of shifter should i buy? and where can i get it at?

I am leaning towards steeda tri-ax but thats only from little articles i have read.

What are your opinions????

The tri-ax worked great in my 99... it works great in my 03 too.

I'm still contemplating getting the mgw handle, in hopes that it puts the handle closer to me.

I have owned the Steeda and now the Pro 5.0, they feel almost identical. The slight nod goes to the pro 50 for being quite a bit quieter. Either way you go you'll be fine.

Do a search! There are plenty of threads and a poll over "Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-ax?" I wouldnt go with anything else other than these 2 cause thats what most users have...I have the Pro 5.0

Or, you could start out spending $35 on an MGW shifter handle...see how that works, then if you want more, upgrade the whole shifter. Seems like many folks have the Tri-Ax or Pro 5.0 with the MGW handle anyhow. www.mgwltd.com
