I'll need to replace the front rotors on my F250 (pulsating) and was wondering is there any benefit to put slotted rotors on or just replace with factory ones. Do you notice any difference? If so, what pads to go with the slotted? Enlighten me please!

I just bought an Excursion and had the same question. After searching a lot of websites dedicated to diesels, and Powerstrokes, the only reference I can find to brakes is recommendations for Hawk LTS pads. I was going to get Autozone Duralast rotors.

Most OT'ers use blanks.
I used to be a proponent of slotted, but IMO its nothing by additional $$$ out of the pocket. Slotted gives you some kind of gas venting and keeps the pads 'clean,' but not worth it.
I'd just make sure you get an American/Canadian made rotor and call it a day.
