There's some good info posted so far. But I know there's more people out there with big hp cars. I still owe someone a phone call also. It seems like the 4.6 would rev faster because it has a shorter stroke but the 5.4 has a bigger combustion chamber which should make more power. I know the power difference between the two are that much different on a stock level. But with some porting Im not sure. From reading through the thread it seems turbos are the the way to go. I didnt here any talk about a supercharger. So I guess its out of the question? I know whipple makes a 4.0 thats capable of some serious power. And Kenne Bell has some serious stuff also. And Ive seen some awesome procharger setups. All the drama is interesting but you guys need to start posting some concrete evidence of them 1000hp builds. Lol

here is a pretty neat list of the fastest modular cars. John Mihovetz tried the 5.4 but it I remember reading somewhere he said the 5.4 wasn't a stable as a 4.6.
