That hillclimb is crazy! You almost bit the side of the hill at one point. I need lots of safe grassy runoff room for me be on track. ;-)
It's not THAT bad... LOL that was driver error on my part. I got lucky and kept it off the wall.. We ha e some room for error, but not much at all..

Hillclimbs are for MANLY men..and women.
No room for error.
We have more then one not so manly women :)

^Ouch. I'll wait on the hillclimbs for a while. At least until I buy a cheap track car.
I'll build a dedicated car once funds allow, till then the Mach it is!

This year i am going to my first SCMC event. I went to your forums and i couldn't find the normal schedule of the events. Seems like there are only 100 drivers total, divided in 3 groups, which seems awesome, but that means sessions runs per day?.. 3?.. 25min? Just curious.

Hector, when I ran with them last year, they did 4 25 minute sessions per day. It was a 3 day event. By noon the 3rd day, half the people had left because they were broken or had enough.

Okay, yeah I'm biased on the events but I did throw in the MCA event for good measure. :p

SCMC events are set up so that when you go back to work on Monday, you are wasted and totally exhausted. Normally what happens is that the last day the track is wide open to anyone that wants to keep driving on it. I know one year there were 3 of us on track for the last two hours and then we threw in the towel from being exhausted.

We believe in giving you the "best bang for the buck" bar none! At VIR there will be 4 run groups with 4 run sessions of 30 minutes each or two hours a day. At NJMP, we will have 5 run groups with 4 run sessions of 25 minutes each as we anticipate having a big crowd in NJ. I also want you to know that we are giving a steep discount at NJMP to the first 50 people who sign up before February 15, 2009.

Please remember we are celebrating the club's 10th Birthday at VIR and the NJMP is the 2009 SVT Cobra/Shelby GT 500 Nationals so we want a big turnout for both events!

Thanks, you too. Some of those events are technically two events over the course of three days at the same track, so it looks more than it really is.

Looks like my track plans have just been slightly altered. We just got notice of a 10% pay cut at work, in order to keep the doors open. :kaboom:

Guess I'll just make a couple local ones, if that.

You are not alone Greg. Not a pay cut exactly, but no bonus this year(10-20%) and a wage freeze ,but like you, happy to still have a job. See you at NJMP?

Sorry to hear that Greg. I really wanted to share a road course with you!

Anyway... we haven't even started yet and i might change my schedule. I might not go in Feb. to VIR, I'm not sure if my car will be ready with enough time so i can feel comfortable with it. :( . I emailed NASA to see if they can credit me for the event in March... dammit.
