where to get an alignment?!?!???

ok im in orlando and the only place i know that can do alignments that i would need is steeda and i really dont feel like driving that far. my car is droped 2.5 inches with 18 inch wheels. where do you guys get yours done at? whats the closest shop to orlando. im willing to drive. :shrug:

Try Powered by Ford in Orlando. They did all the suspension work on my 91' notch. they are on division st. off i-4 at the kalye exit

I would call around to local firestones to see what kind of equipment they have.
Some carry the newer, more advanced and accurate equipment. Plus you can buy the lifetime alignment plan for 100 bucks, which pays for itself after 2 alignment and it good for the life of the car.

*These shops on the list are called Tire Kingdom. They are affiliated with National Tire and Battery. You can go to NTB.com if you want more info. In NJ, I and hundreds of other stang owners with lowered cars have to use National Tire and Battery centers because it is so difficult to find an alignment shop that can lowered cars. Around here, places like good Goodyear and Sears don't have the proper rack to keep a lowered car from slipping off the rack. Hope this helps buddy. I know for a fact that NTB and all their affiliates can do alignments on any lowered vehicle. They'll even give you a printout of the set specs after you're done.

I've never seen a lowered car "slip" off of a rack in over 22 years..!!?? But, a lot of locations, NTB/Merchants/TK included do NOT have a rack/lift that can get a lowered vehicle up the rampa without damage.. I have one in my store with extended ramps for low vehicles

I'd be surprised if the racks at NTB in Florida were that different front the ones in NJ. But they could be. I'm only reporting what I found in my painful research about 3 years ago when I lowered my car. GoodYear, Sears, Pep Boys and similar shops, simply reiterated that they were unable to align a mustang that had its stock ride height lowered. I'm come across dozens of stang owners in this state witht he same story. I doubt its a NorthEast kind of thing. :dw:
