where to put bov??

im just finishing my turbo build and im not quite sure where to put the bov, im using a blow threw mass air meter, should i put it between the intercooler and mass air or between the throttle body and mass air, or does it not matter where it goes, and the bov is just gonna dump into the atmosphere
