I have pictures on my home computer of the aftermath and the video of the track pass where it started slipping just after the 60ft mark. Another funny excuse McLeod used when I showed them the video is that they said that I ride the clutch when I drive and that I was riding it in the video they said they could tell this by watching the video. How you can tell that I have no clue. But I then proceeded to tell them that my stock clutch was still holding fine when I took it out and only replaced it because to prevent an issue like I had with the RST from happening. So if Im a clutch rider with a drag car as they like to put it how was my stock clutch still in really good shape and never gave me a problem, he had no excuse for that. I did get refunded for the 2nd one I had to buy to replace it eventually after threatening to dispute it with my credit card company. At that time I was told by a very well known vendor on here that they did not want to do business with me anymore. And told me the new RST that I bought to replace from them would not have any warranty on it and that basically if it happened again they would do nothing and not to call them about it. I kept very good record from the install to the failure with pics and video of everything pretty much and all was done by professionals which both company's seemed not care about at all. In all it took about 2 months from the time McLeod got the burned up clutch back for me to get my money back for the 2nd. So far i have put about a thousand miles on it since then no track time on it seems to be doing ok. But I have no confidence in it to take it back to the track and after talking to McLeod and the vendor neither did they. I would love to get the RST independently tested to see if it really can hold 800hp because There is some serious doubts about that from my findings and from some of the comments they made to me about it. But I guess for you if your going to test its holding power you should do it sooner than later so that there should be no excuse about long term wear on it or high mileage on it or what ever else they can come up with. I did notice that now they have a disclaimer on it that says not for competition use and the vendor has one that says not for use at the drag strip now. Thought that was very interesting. Hope you don't have the same problem I did. But keep good records of everything just in case. My car is a garage queen also it only has 11,800 miles on it and a handful of track passes on it since I bought it in 2004. This is the only issue I have ever had with it.

[QUOTE="03venum, post: 11295807, member: 35657"] The clutch slipped on the second pass in the 1/8 mile and the disks melted basically it coated everything inside the bell housing. I have pictures on my home computer of the aftermath and the video of the track pass where it started slipping just after the 60ft mark. Another funny excuse McLeod used when I showed them the video is that they said that I ride the clutch when I drive and that I was riding it in the video they said they could tell this by watching the video.
