[QUOTE="Streetpwr281, post: 15829547, member: 55660"] Finally received the 2.9 Gen 3 I ordered before Christmas and had installed/tuned this past week at Coastal Dyno in Tampa, FL. Combo is as follows: 2013 GT500 w 17k Whipple 2.9 Gen 3 (3.0” UP/10% IW Lower) Stainless Works 1 7/8” LTs Off-Road H-Pipe Factory Cat-Back JLT 155mm CAÍ VMP Twinjet 67mm TB ID1050X Injectors 170 Thermostat / Iridium Plugs Billet OPGs/Billet Crank Gear 93 Octane Pump Gas Tune All Dyno results are on loaded Mustang Dyno so “conservatively” multiply by 1.08 for equivalent Dynojet numbers. I’m going to pick a cool morning and make a couple Dynojet runs soon just to validate. The Mustang Dyno pulls were at 85 degrees here in FL afternoon heat so factor that in as well. Before run w Whipple 2.9 Gen 2 / SW Hi-Flo Cats: 677rwhp / 668rwtq X 1.08 = 731rwhp / 721rwtq After run w Whipple 2.9 Gen 3 / Cat Elims: 724rwhp / 696rwtq X 1.08 = 782rwhp / 751rwtq Gen 3 made about .75psi more so close to 17psi now at peak. Entire area under the curve was raised and the car completely overpowers the 305/35/20” Nitto DRs at this point even rolling into the throttle in 2nd gear w 3.31 gears. Roughly 47rwhp / 28rwtq gained at peak. Most likely the limiting factor now is the VMP Twin 67mm TB which I’ve retained for driveability since I daily drive the car (and driveability remains like stock) and of course 93 octane fuel. Car feels great though and I’m very pleased with the upgrade. Next upgrade may be VMP Twinjet 72mm if they ever perfect/release it for sale again and BAP/E85 Tune but I’m clearly already near limits of stock motor. Thoughts?
