Whipple super chargers are awesome, as are all twin screw blowers. I just don't like the jackshaft type drive mechanism they are using on this particular combo.

I would do the same. The 2.3L TVS blower Roush uses isn't quite as good as a twin screw, but it is very close, and the engineering and at Roush is second to none. I'm hoping they come out with the kit for the '15 F150 soon.

My current truck is an '05 with a 5.4 that's currently suffering from the low RPM high load miss/stutter. I'm about to change plugs again and the coil packs. Next is fuel injectors. If that doesn't help, it's off to the dealer for a proper diagnosis before I get to the kitchen sink. The 5.0 vs. 3.5 Ecoboost delema is raging in my mind if replacement of the '05 turns into an option. The availability of the Roush SC will likely end all debate. The turbo sounds cool, and the Ecoboost is impressive stock and I'm sure it's a blast with a simple 50 hp tune, but a 570-600 hp supercharged V8 is where it's at.
